Two-day course consisting of lectures, skill stations and tutorials taught by an Australian & Sri Lankan faculty of Paediatric Intensive Care Specialists, with an emphasis on a practical approach to the management of critically ill children. A certificate will be issued following the successful completion of post-course MCQ assessment.

The fee includes coffee breaks, lunches, 1 welcome reception and an Instruction Manual given to the participants prior to the commencement of the course.
Participants can withdraw from the course 2 weeks before the course. If you get absent or withdraw within a week, you need to pay additional Rs 1,500.00 for renewal of registration.

- This will teach the basic knowledge and skills to work safely in emergency situations outside the ICU. It is beyond the APLS course. This also includes the basic principles of paediatric ventilation.
- It is important to read the manual thoroughly before the course.
- Course Director would send the Pre-course MCQ link a little nearer to the course. The MCQ is mandatory and tests your understanding of the information in the manual.
Candidates are assessed throughout the course so that appropriate feedback can be given. Each participant will be allocated a mentor for the course. A MCQ paper would be given at the end of the course.
Accommodation is available at Cetrac, Battaramulla, at a nominal rate. Please reserve it well in advance to avoid disappointment.
