Respected colleagues, esteemed partners, distinguished guests, and dear friends of the Asia Pacific Pediatric Nurses Association, I am Balbina M. Borneo, President of the Asia Pacific Pediatric Nurses Association (APPNA).
It is with great honor and heartfelt enthusiasm that I extend my warmest greetings to all of you.
On behalf of APPNA and the Council Delegates representing our eight ASEAN member associations; most especially from the Philippines, my home country; I am pleased to formally invite and welcome you to the 9th Asia Pacific Pediatric Congress, to be held on 26-27 July 2026 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
We are deeply honored to gather pediatric nursing leaders, practitioners, educators, researchers, partners, sponsors, and advocates who share a common commitment to advancing child health. The Congress theme, “Transforming Pediatric Nursing: Innovation, Compassion, and Excellence in Child Health,” reflects our collective resolve to respond meaningfully to the global call for health and well-being, while embracing innovation without losing the compassion that defines our profession.
