Exciting Quiz Competition Unites All the Medical Faculties on the Island for a Battle of Brains!
The recent Inter-faculty Paediatric Quiz competition organized by the College of Paediatricians for the 14th time was a resounding success. It brought together bright minds from 10 medical faculties. The event, held on 17th October 2024, at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute created an atmosphere of healthy rivalry and showcased the participants’ incredible knowledge and quick thinking prowess.
University of Jaffna, University of Kelaniya, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, University of Peradeniya, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, University of Ruhuna, Faculty of Health Care Sciences – University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, University of Colombo and Faculty of Healthcare Sciences – Eastern University showcased an impressive performance.
Teams from the Universities of Jayewardenepura and Colombo secured the positions of first and second runners-up, respectively. The winners of the Quiz Competition were University of Ruhuna. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes, led by Dr Duminda Samarasinghe, President of Sri Lanka College of Paediatricians.
